Internet Explorer / IE >> Forms Field Auto-Fill in IE 7
Why doesn't the browser allow the user to input properties (name, address,
email, phone, etc --all the way to credit cards/birthdays/etc in a protected
area, of course) which would auto-fill form fields?
There are myriad third-party programs like the popular, but way overprice
related to functionality, RoboForm that do exactly that. However, I believe
strongly that this should be an inherant browser interface feature. As the
main interface between me (the user) and web content, the brower itself
should represent me to the online world fully. Forcing the user to
repeatedly enter and re-enter the same text site after site is not intuitive.

There is the UserProfile and lo Microsoft Wallet, but both of these rely on
web sites to implement them with coding on their sites and besides I am sure
that most developers have not heard of the UserProfile (Internet
Options>Content tab - Autocomplete and My Profile)

I too am dissapointed with the auto fill feature. Sometimes it works,
sometimes it does not.
It appears that that will need some tweeking also.
