Internet Explorer / IE >> Characters do not type in Internet Explorer

Whenever I type anything in Internet Explorer it sometimes skips a character,
even though I did press it on the keyboard. I migh be typing a password, for
example, and unbeknownst to me, it skips one of the characters wich I did
press on the keyboard. See the above sentence, I DID type theword "might"
and I did type he word "which" and I did put a space between "the" and "word"
in this sentence. There is nt rhyme of reason as to when this will happnen,
but it is the most annoying thing and causes many errors in filling out order
forms, etc on the Internt. Can anyone help? Please?

Internet Explorer / IE >> Characters do not type in Internet Explorer Hi Tony:

If you have a wireless keyboard:

1 - replace the batteries
2 - reconnect with the receiver
3 - make sure the keyboard and receiver are within line of sight
4 - check for interference from neighboring items, e.g, speakers,
monitors, cell phones, etc.
5 - ask the keyboard manufacturer's technical support for assistance

If you have a wired keyboard, and it is securely plugged in, time for a
new keyboard.

Internet Explorer / IE >> Characters do not type in Internet Explorer Thanks so much for answering my question so quickly. I have a wired keyboard,
but this problem is limited only to Internet. All characters type properly
when using Word, for example.

Internet Explorer / IE >> Characters do not type in Internet Explorer The mechanics and electronics of a keyboard operate the same way no
matter how the keyboard is being used.

Internet Explorer / IE >> Characters do not type in Internet Explorer Hi,
You may have an incompatible browser add-on.
See: http://www.enhanceie.com/ie/troubleshoot.asp
for troubleshooting information.

The troublesome program may not show up as an add-on. Disable other
security, privacy, ad-blocking, tweaking programs to see if one of them is
causing the problem. Any program that interacts with Internet Explorer could
be causing this. The connection with IE may not be obvious, such as Google
Desktop.

A firewall will probably not be causing this problem, but be sure to turn on
the Windows Firewall from Control Panel> Windows Firewall before disabling a
third-party firewall or security suite during testing.

Hope this helps,
Don
