Outlook 2003 email print scale!

Internet Explorer14
One of my customers have installed IE70 on all clients. Sadly they now have

printing problems in Outlook 2003. First of all they had problems printing

the mail headers on some email. This I fixed by installing the hotfix

addressing this issue on all clients. But they still have a problem printing

some emails. IE70 somehow scales the print of some emails so that the font

gets very small, almost unreadable. Is there a way to stop IE70 from doing

this? I know of the workaround (hit forward and print the mail), but it would

be nice if this is not needed and if printing from Outlook 2003 could be as

sweet as before IE70 was installed :)

Thanx in advance.

Best Regards

Re:Outlook 2003 email print scale!

There's another Hotfix (not 931657) for this behavior (and we expect it to

be included in an upcoming Cumulative Update for IE, possibly as soon as 10

Apr-07): msmvps.com/blogs/spywaresucks/archive/2007/03/18/689883.aspx" >msmvps.com/blogs/spywaresucks/archive/2007/03/18/689883.aspx

This Hotfix is only available to certain Premier Support customers at this

time.

As of this posting, the KB associated with this hotfix (KB932538) is not

publicly available and may not be available to all International

QFE-qualifying customers.

Re:Outlook 2003 email print scale!

I tried the Same FIX from Microsoft (Artical ID: 931657 - HOTFIX:

IE7-KB931657-WindowsXP-x86-enu.exe) and it did not work for me, my question

to you is did it actually work for you?

My only solution for the user is right now to OPEN the Email and hit "REPLY"

and then Print off this MESSAGE... pretty sad...

Hopeing for a better solution...

Thanks in advance...

Michael

Re:Outlook 2003 email print scale!

931657 is *not* the Hotfix for this problem, Michael. 931657 addresses

another problem (lack of headers when printing OL or OE messages).

If you don't qualify for Premier Partner Support, Hotfix 932538 will not be

available to you at this point.
