Internet Explorer / IE >> IE 7 opens two copies

A club member has IE7 installed. He has his mouse click set for one-click
equaling two clicks. Unfortunately, one click produces two copies, one less
that maximized and the other fully maximized over the smaller.

Any ideas? Thanks

Internet Explorer / IE >> IE 7 opens two copies 1. Does this behavior persist if you start IE7 in No Add-ons mode?

To start IE7 in No Add-ons mode:

Right-click on the blue IE desktop icon and select Start without Add-ons; or

Start > (All) Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Internet Explorer (No
add-ons).

2. If you uninstall IE7 (which automatically returns you to IE6), does this
behavior persist?

Internet Explorer / IE >> IE 7 opens two copies I'll make another house call tomorrow afternoon and check this out. Teaching
a class in the morning. I'll report back.
Thank you.

Internet Explorer / IE >> IE 7 opens two copies I returned to the club member's home this afternoon, and this solved the
problem. His son had set up the computer and had thrown in at least 30
add-ons.

Thank you!

Internet Explorer / IE >> IE 7 opens two copies Were you able to determine which of them were causing the problem?
