The website declined to show this webpage

hi..

IE 7

windows xp pro

problem:

when i go to www.ebay.ca i can open it ..but on part of the screen i

can see this message.."The web site declined to show this web page"

error 403

and I (info) icon..the all visible links on this page works ..ok i

think there is no problem with other web pages

please help me to solve this problem

You most likely have an aberrant HOSTS file.



Search your computer for a hidden file called HOSTS. Rename to HOSTS.OLD.

Test.

Having the same issue and did a search for HOSTS and came back with nil....

any further help would be great.

Did you find your HOSTS file? It is a hidden file that can only be viewed if

you have the option to view hidden file and folders (and system folders

sometimes depending on operating system).
