Internet Explorer / IE >> Video won't play on Foxnews website

I am having the same problem after upgrading to IE 7 Final Version. Videos
will not play on both PC that I upgraded to IE 7. With IE 6 there was not
problems, with Netscape no problem, when playing videos from other websites
with IE 7 no problems.
No help from Foxnews or Microsoft.

Internet Explorer / IE >> Video won't play on Foxnews website Foxnews videos work for me (IE7 all versions including the final version).
Check your security and privacy settings. You may have something to high.

Internet Explorer / IE >> Video won't play on Foxnews website Thanks for your reply Frank, but that is not the problem. I have my security
and privacy settings the same as when I was running IE 6. As I said in my
first message Foxnews website video is the only one that will not work. All
other website videos work fine. If I use Netscape to open Foxnews to play a
video it works fine. There is something wrong with IE 7 (all versions beta
and final).

Internet Explorer / IE >> Video won't play on Foxnews website And I'm not smart enough to tell you how to fix your problem. I just wanted
to try to keep you from making the false conclusion that it was a general
IE7 problem. There's something in your system that's causing you the
problem. Wish I could help, but I can't. Good luck.

Internet Explorer / IE >> Video won't play on Foxnews website I thank you for your commits but as I said before BOTH of my PCs that I
upgraded to IE7 are having the same problem with the Foxnews videos. If it
was just one PC I would think that it was a problem with my system, but BOTH
computers?
Thanks again.

Internet Explorer / IE >> Video won't play on Foxnews website Chuck,
It looks like they use Adobe Flash player for their videos- I just checked
and played some there. My suggestion would be that you uninstall Adobe Flash
Player and go to their web site and download and reinstall that and see if
it solves your problem. Here is the download site for the latest version:
http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash
Thought I'd take a stab at a solution seeing that you are not getting
anywhere here and that would be my first step in trying to solve this.
HTH,
Bob

Internet Explorer / IE >> Video won't play on Foxnews website Chuck,
I was having the same problems. Almost all sites with video were displaying
multiple colors with no distinguishable picture, but sound worked. I right
clicked over the video and chose "Options", then under the Performance tab I
chose "Advanced". Then deselected "Use video mixing renderer". Since making
this adjustment my hometown news channel and CNN both work without a hitch.
Hope this helps.
Chris
