Is there a way to default to opening a link in a tab rather than a window?

Internet Explorer / IE >> Is there a way to default to opening a link in a tab rather than a window?

Many links are coded to open in a new window. It seems to me that one of
the advantages of tabbed browsing is avoiding multiple instances of IE that
result from clicking on a bunch of these kind of links. Is there any way to
have all links open in a new tab rather than a window? To me, this is a
serious usability issue, and significantly diminishes the value of tabbed
browsing if it's not available.

Internet Explorer / IE >> Is there a way to default to opening a link in a tab rather than a window? In internet options, under the tabbed browsing options you can change it to
open in a new tab instead of a window.
