Internet Explorer / IE >> IE7 running under vista

Hi,

i dont know how but i seem to have somehow damagaed IE7. it does not
seem to work any more, and it does not work with hotmail or web access
outlook and many of the add ons - e.g - flash, java and google toolbar
do not seem to run as well?

i have reset explorer twice and it is still not working?

is there a way how i can re-download in order to get it working again
please?

Do a thorough check for malware, following all of the steps at one of these

So How Did I Get Infected Anyway?
For quite a few people it's by installing programs like Messenger Plus,
whose ads for malware don't identify the malware as such and try to convince
you that you owe it to the author. See also:

Don't ever do a "default" install of anything. Always choose Custom and see
what else is being carried along. Don't install any extras you're not sure
of.

What anti-virus application or security suite is installed? What
anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)? What third-party firewall
(if any)?

I am using McAfee Internet Security software, which is regularly
updated, i also use it in conjunction with Defender.
