Internet Explorer / IE >> IE stops working when using multiple windows (opening popups) after a certain amount of time (Vista)

I recently got a new computer with windows Vista. I sometimes open
about 5 or 6 tabs. Java
is used a little bit as well. After a while, I try to open certain
windows that 'pop up' and won't work. Either a white window will
come
up, or nothing will happen at all.

Sometimes i can search other parts of the Internet, sometimes I can't
do anything. I mainly can't open the
windows that 'pop up' when you open them. I don't know whether this
is a problem with Vista or IE. Is there any way to fix it, or is
there something I can do about it? Right now, the only way
to fix it is by logging off the computer and logging back in again,
then re-opening
all my windows. Then after a while the same thing will happen again.

If it can't be fixed, is there anything I can try so that I won't
have
to close all my windows and log off? Any ideas? Thanks.

I have also experienced this with a few XP machines as well. After a
certain period of time, IE7 will appear to lockup when opening a popup
window. I also see javascript errors such as "interface not supported"
and "not enough storage space is available to complete this operation".
This problem did not occur until the last batch of security updates in
August.
