IE7 General Issues (Favorites, McAfee)

Internet Explorer74
First impressions are good. I like IE7 a lot. The only issues I've found a

so far are

1. I can't scroll with scroll wheel when I open Favorites from the menu but

I can in the Favorites Centre.

2. When opening any of the McAfee security apps I got a plain white window

with the McAfee header. I had to roll back to ie6 because I wanted to

uninstall McAfee, then reinstall IE7. Maybe a problem with a dll?

Re:IE7 General Issues (Favorites, McAfee)

I had the same problem with my McAfee Security Center (OEM Comcast

subscription). I also had to uninstall IE 7 Beta 2 to correct.

Re:IE7 General Issues (Favorites, McAfee)

Everyone i know of has this problem with McAfee...dont know what a public

beta is doing out wihout cking with norton, Mcafee, etc...smaller vendors i

could see but a beta with this problem with mainline virus Co's??

Guess thats what a beta is for but....sure seams like someone goofed,

also the tabs starts sites up only in alphabetical order..not in the order

they are listed in under a folder.. maybe we have to add an a in front of

betanews and b infront of anandtech to get them to start in the order

listed..clunky..FF has no problem with doing things the way u want and i can

shut down tabs from one spot without moving the mouse instead of clicking on

each tab and rpositioning.
