Internet Explorer / IE >> Delete browser history

Maybe a good idea to provide an option that allows for automatic deletion of
browser history when exiting the browser. That is one reason I have
cosistantly avoided using IE 6

Internet Explorer / IE >> Delete browser history There already is an option to automatically delete the browser history. Go
to Tools-->Internet Options, click on the Advanced tab, scroll down to the
Security section and then enable the "Empty Temporary Internet Files folder
when browser is closed" checkbox.

Wouldn't that also delete your cache, making you re-download the same
images each time you browse?

Internet Explorer / IE >> Delete browser history Yes, you would have to re-download everything, but I think that is the
intention of this feature--to remove all evidence of browsing history, so
that it looks like the browser has never been used.

Internet Explorer / IE >> Delete browser history Browser History and Temp Internet Files are 2 different things.

You can Delete Temporary Internet Files when browser closes, it
will not delete cookies, you need to do that manually. It will
not delete Browser History, unless you click "Delete All' at the
bottom of the Delete button page.

You can set the History to keep it any ammount of days you want..
I set it to 0 , it will keep one days worth of Browser HISTORY.
Tools/Internet Options/General Tab/Browsing History/Settings
Button
at the bottom of Settings, "Days to keep pages in History"......
0.
