Re:IE 7 Won't Load

Internet Explorer 7 exits immediately when you start it in Windows XP or in Windows Server

2003

Re:IE 7 Won't Load

Hi Stranger,

whats your real name? We move with

real names here!

Try to start the IE without any extension and add-ons.

Right click the "Internet Explorer" icon on your desktop

and then click "start without addons", to load a clean and

plain IE7.

Then try to find out by disabling the extensions one-by-one,

which one was the "bad guy", if there was any,...

This is the first step you should go,...

If this does not help, there are other possibilities,...

Best regards

Re:IE 7 Won't Load

Windows version?

Does this behavior persist if you start IE7 in No Add-ons mode? To start

IE7 in No Add-ons mode:

1. Right-click on the blue IE desktop icon and select Start without Add-ons;

2. Start>(All) Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Internet Explorer

(No add-ons).

Does the problem persist if you Reset IE7 Settings (RIES)?

Go to C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer

look for ieproxy.dll

Move it to C:\Windows\Sytem32

Now go to Start | Run and Type

regsvr32 ieproxy.dll

and press <Enter>.

Now try launching IE7

Re:IE 7 Won't Load

regsvr32 ieproxy.dll Failed to Load Message appeared when I tried your

solution. I've downloaded Firefox through another web browser I thankfully

had loaded previously for blogging purposes. Thanks anyway Frank.
