Internet Explorer / IE >> Tool Bars and Icons
rst I would suggest that you allow us to actual customize the tool bars, the
way we used to be able to. You have actually reduced the functionality of
Explorer.
Since the Google toolbar is so much more functional that the one you are
forcing me to use I would like to remove your search function and just use
Googleâ??s.
I would like to group all the icons up in the top left corner, I cant see
any purpose in splitting them up into the top left and bottom right corners.
I would like to get rid of the two new icons that serve no purpose, the
favorite star and Star Plus icon. There functions are redundant to the
existing favorites menu.
I would like to arrange the tool bars in the order I like, not the way you
dictate them to me.
All these functions that I would like to do I can do with IE 6.0.

Internet Explorer / IE >> Tool Bars and Icons
You can hide IE7's search box and force IE7's menu bar to the top using
registry files at http://www.hide-link.com/
You might also want to try a user interface shell like Avant at
http://www.hide-link.com/ or Maxthon at http://www.hide-link.com/ if you want
a more customisable user interface while retaining the improved rendering and
security of IE7.

Microsoft hasn't reduced the level of customisability in IE7 just to****
you off and are listening to your concerns about customisability in IE7.

Internet Explorer / IE >> Tool Bars and Icons
Well Rocky I wasnâ??t "pissed off" before, just annoyed, but after reading your
post now I am pissed off.
Apparently to make IE 7.0 as customizable as IE 6.0 I have to mess around
with my registry files, something most people donâ??t like to do, or I can
download some third party product so I can enhance IE 7.0 back to the
abilities of IE 6.0, that sound like a great idea, thanks.
Furthermore your suggestion to read your previous post points out that the
designers of IE 7.0 did this on purpose, apparently because they could not
figure out how to do it correctly the first time.
