Internet Explorer / IE >> Cannot install ie7
I go through the installation process, and when promted to restart, do so.
Then when the computer boots back up there is no sign of it having been
installed.

I have been having the exact same problem. I have turned off all running
programs, and installed it no less than 6 different times and still it is no
where to be found (isn't in the programs list to uninstall either.

Internet Explorer / IE >> Cannot install ie7
Hi Leo:
It's likely that the protective software on your computer (e.g.,
antivirus, antispyware, firewall) is preventing the installer from
completing.
Also bear in mind that you can only install IE 7 if you have SP 2 and
you are installing from an account that has Administrator permissions.
These instructions should be followed EXACTLY to maximize your chances
for success:

Tips if you have trouble installing IE 7:
http://www.ie-vista.com/known_issues.html#tips
Instead of installing IE 7 from Microsoft/Windows Update, download the
installer, which you'll find here...
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/ie/getitnow.mspx
...and install IE 7 from your hard drive.
If there is malware on your computer that can also interfere with
installation.

Internet Explorer / IE >> Cannot install ie7
Can you help me??? I tried to remove IE7 from my computer from the
Add/Remove Program. I thought that would just take me back to IE6 but now my
computer is totally screwed up! I can sign on the Roadrunner and get to my
home page but when I try to go to any other site I get a blank screen and
everything just locks up. Any suggestions?

Internet Explorer / IE >> Cannot install ie7
What operating system are you using? If you have anything lower than XP, you
will not be able to install IE7, according to Microsoft.
