No, DON'T mail the fix, if you have a "fix" for something, post it here so
we can ALL benefit.

Internet Explorer / IE >> Fixes for all IE problems Hi Joey Wormwood
If your offer to help is legit, stop blathering about private email and
start posting fixes to the problems listed here at this newsgroup. Have you
already replied to any of the problems yet?

Know what I think? Well...on second thought...

Internet Explorer / IE >> Fixes for all IE problems Seconded, emphatically! It's never a good or safe idea to send email
replies to posts like this.

Internet Explorer / IE >> Fixes for all IE problems Sorry to see everyone's bugging you about your own methology of helping
people. Any help you can offer others would be great, in my opinion.

The only two things I would ask you to do:
1) Post any new things you come across and fix, to benefit everyone else in
the community.

2) Give credit to the original authors, if possible, and if applicable.
(Links to the original question can often help, as others - sometimes - post
new ideas or easier instructions)

Thanks,

Internet Explorer / IE >> Fixes for all IE problems True on posting. But the title is actually wrong. Their is one fix that
nothing can fix. And that was M$ stupid decision not to allow us the
freedom of the toolbar that we always had since IE first came out. So Fixes
for most IE problems would be more correct.

Internet Explorer / IE >> Fixes for all IE problems While I'm not getting help on my question elsewhere, perhaps you guys can
shed some light on my issue with IE7 and the Links Bar, a problem I'm having
on at least 10 of our machines. If multiple homepages are set, IE7 does not
load each one with the same preferences, nor update all of the tabs if I make
changes to one. The problem, then, is when my links don't display fully
expanded like I want them too, I then have to run through the following
process each time I open IE7, and to each tab: 1) Right click the task bar
and uncheck Links (yes, it shows the links as
displayed, though they are not), 2) Right click the task bar and check Links,
3) Unlock the toolbars, 4) Drag the Links across the page to expand them, and
5) Relock the toolbar. Like you guys have experienced, this is a maddening
process that is annoying enough to inspire the dreaded unistall of IE7
altogether. If anyone knows of any fixes, please advise. Thanks!
