Hi everyone!



My system config: XP SP2, WMP 11, IE 7



When I click some MP3 links in IE, WMP does not come up and the page goes

blank after a short wait. Other MP3 links work fine.



The links that don't work now used to work in the past. They also work with

the Quicktime plug-in, if I enable it. But I'd rather use WMP. How can I make

it work?

That sounds like QuickTime is involved in the association chain...

Does reassociating to WMP in WMP's Tools:Options:File Types fix this up?

That's the thread I followed and came to suspect a Java issue. Reinstalling

the Java Run Time Environment made the problem go away. Thanks for your

suggestion.
