Deny explorer.

Media Player104
I have to stop several people from using the internet. I first try was to

delete/rename explorer.exe. That did not work. I thought I would be

cleaver and set the permissions to "deny". Everyone was â??denyâ?? but the

administrator.

Then I tried to boot up under the user id â??ISSâ??. (ISS=powerusers). Too my

supprise window did NOT boot up. I tried to login in a Administrator and the

same thing.

I did not realize that window required explorer. Is there a way to â??undenyâ??

explorer????

Re:Deny explorer.

explorer.exe is your desktop interface. Sounds like you meant to deny access

to iexplore.exe which is Internet Explorer. You may have to do a repair

install.

Re:Deny explorer.

Thanks Marvin. The problem I am having is that the setup.exe program is not

working. Do you know of any other way to remove permissions without windows?
