i know how ungrateful this will sound so please try to take it as a question and not as criticisim, but why do people keep posting C# and C++ code (and code links) into the VB Area.
thanks anyway, much appreciated.

C# is extremely similar to VB: when asking a question on how to do something other than how to create a for/next loop, or syntax related questions, then you will use the same commands in C# as you would in VB. For example, to set the cell of a DataGridView in C# is exactly the same as in VB.

Some samples are only in C# or visa versa.

In addition, it pays (sometimes literally) to be conversant in both. Remember, also, that the question/problem is important only to the poster and not anyone else - to get the results needed you have to be versatile in accepting what answers you get.

(Edited comment: Size of zip reduced to around 6mb.)

If you want to download the referenced example in zip format,

ready to run in the IDE, with some updates and corrections;

Download from http://users.adelphia.net/~gcumbia/printrtfnow.zip

(Because this version has a high res picture that is used in the help,

and because it contains the whole directory structure which duplicates

a lot of things, the filesize is 11MB!)

(This will be the first file to get 'axed' when I need some more file room

at my ISP, and with a limit of 20MB, that won't be long!)
