I am currently using VS2005 Team Suite+ Team explorer. Everything works fine until yesterday, I just found that the VS2005 stop responding while loading the solution. I have to use Task Manager to kill VS2005. And I tried several different sultions, all the same.

One strange thing is that VS2005 works fine while loading the normal solutions(none-team solutions). As long as loading the team solution, it stopped responding. At first, i thougth there is somthing wrong with Team Foundation Server, but after i checked with other colleage's computer, their VS2005 works just fine.

What i did next is that i deleted my workspace in the Source Control Explorer, uninstalled Team explorer, uninstall the VS2005 Team Suite. After that i reinstall everthing.

It seemed to work well, but as soon as i shut the VS2005, and re-launch the VS2005, The not-responding happened again.

A few questions:

1) What sizes are the solutions you tried (tens of files, hundreds of files or thousands)

2) Can you successfully add new solutions to Source Control

3) Can you bring up the Team Explorer toolwindow and explore its contents

4) Can you bring up Source Control Explorer and browse it contents

5) If you pull up Task Manager when you are hung and look at the CPU is it near 100% or 0%

6) Your colleagues are able to load the controlled solutions using their copies of VS 2005 without incident

7) We could try bumping up the logging on the client to show the actual data passed in the SOAP calls. For instance, the following could be put in <VS InstallDir>\Common7\IDE\devenv.exe.config and VS restarted to log to the specified file:
