I have the same problem: when I try accessing the Benefits portal, I get a page telling me that the page is not available.

It is common that it takes a couple of days before the benefits portal recognizes that you are registered. You should be able to access it after a few business days from when you registered.

I had the same problem but it's actually easy to fix, just go to http://connect.microsoft.com select 'Sign In', after signing in go to 'Manage your connect profile' in the bottom left corner and fill in everything that has a red * next to it. Then click ok (or it's equivilent). Don't bother with then next page (personal info) unless you need to. Click OK and sign out.

Try the benefits portal again and it should work.
