So here's an update -
I have uninstalled CTP7, rebooted (not required but not a bad idea) and installed the Trial download (20 MB) on a box with a German OS, Windows XP SP2 and with an english version of Team Suite.
The entire process went smoothly without errors. The menus are still all in english and a project conversion (from CTP7 to RTM) worked without apparent errors. See the ReadMe 2.4.7 for possible problems with the expected conditions (validation results) in unit test when the OS is not english or the OS of the box running the tests is not the same as the installation language.
As it appears, I can verify GertD's post, the DBP Version was installed and recognised as being a full version (not trial as far as I can see). The ReadMe does however indicate that the MSDN Library for VS must be updated to the new (December) version in order for it to be available. At a first glance it would seem that the chm help files that were part of the CTP's (in the DBPro directory) are no longer there and therefore there are no help files or topics until the MSDN Library is updated.
I assume the same trouble free installation could be had with the trial version of Team Suite, but then DBP will stay as a trial version.
