Hi,

I am trying to add a search engine in my IE7 searchbar. I developed XML file as per reference. Now when I am giving special character "o" (E.g. "sockening" in <shortname> container tag then it raises an error.

Please suggest me a way to display search engine label with special character as soon as possible.

You need to ensure that you're encoding your text correctly for XML. You may find http://www.enhanceie.com/ie/searchbuilder.asp helpful.
