Exchange Servers >> How do I get updates from an offline view to SQL Server?

Greetings!

I am trying to get a remote view from a SQL Server table into FoxPro, create
an offline copy of it, send it out, get it back, bring the view back online,
and update the SQL Server table. The updating is giving me trouble. The
only example I've been able to find so far that comes close to illustrating
this is in the Programmer's Guide for VFP 6. (I'm using VFP 8.)

Here's my latest attempt:

handle = SQLConnect("ODBCName")
SQLSetProp(handle, "Transactions", 2)
USE myOfflineView ONLINE EXCLUSIVE
TABLEUPDATE(.T., .T.)
SQLCommit(handle)
SQLDisconnect(handle)

Thanks for your assistance!

Rob

Exchange Servers >> How do I get updates from an offline view to SQL Server? Dan,

The only error message I was able to see, by using FoxPro's MESSAGE()
function, was: "SQL: Operation was canceled." Not a lot of help.
