Exchange Servers Setup >> 5.5 to 2003 migration

Have NT40 domain. PDC + 5 BDC + E5.5NT40in branch
offices. PDC upgraded to W2003 Sever. Running in Windows
2000 mixed domain functional level. Installed W2003
Server on the new server (member of the current domain)
and want to install E2003 on it. My question is: do i
need to upgrade all BDC to 2000/2003 before migrating
current E5.5 to E2003 or i don't need all DCs be
2000/2003. Thank you for help.

Exchange Servers Setup >> 5.5 to 2003 migration No, you just need at least one Win2k3 SP3 or later DC in the AD site for
E2k3 to function. You will also need to upgrade your ADC to the E2k3 version
first.
The E2k3 deployment tools, which you can get to from the E2k3 setup splash
screen, will go through all the requirements with you.
