Exchange Servers Setup >> Removing First Exchange 2000 Sytem

Hi
We have an Exchange 2000 System running on Windows 2000 Server. We recently
installed Windows 2003 and Exchange 2003 as part of the same active
directory. I have migrated all mailboxes, public folders, Offline address
book, Free Busy information, Recipient Update Server from the E2K system to
E2K3.

Now if I swtch off the E2K system I am unable to connect from an outlook
client to the exchange server even though there is a message in the bottom
right hand corner advising it is trying to connect to the E2K3 server. A
soon as the E2K system is back up all functions ok

Thanks for any suggestions

Exchange Servers Setup >> Removing First Exchange 2000 Sytem The Outlook clients will update automatically their profiles, but the old
server must remain connected until all users have been updated.
