Exchange Servers Setup >> New ISP - Outbound mail fails

I have recently changed from TDC (Danish) to Telia (Danish) as ISP.

My old SMTP setting was smtp.mail.dk and worked fine.. now changed to

adress. Exchange delievers it back instantly saying The Account does not
exist.

Both the SMTP connector and SMTP virtual points at smtp.telia.dk, any ideas
on what other settings may need a change are welcome.

/Kenneth

You're talking about a smarthost, right?
What mail *does* get delivered properly?

Your SMTP virtual server shouldn't have the smarthost/remote SMTP server
specified at all - the SMTP connector should take care of that.

Set up your SMTP connector to deliver outbound Internet mail to a smarthost
(as in, smtp.telia.dk, with * as the address space), and remove the
smarthost setting I suspect you've set up in the SMTP virtual server
properties (leave it blank).

If your ISP's SMTP server requires authentication to relay throught it, you
would specify that in the SMTP connector's properties - advanced tab,
outbound security button.

Note - the microsoft.public.exchange.* groups handle all versions of
Exchange, so it's always a good idea to include your full versions & SP
levels of everything to make it easier for people to reply.

the smarthosts name as you said..

As every other email goes through fine.. I dont reckon security is the
problem.

The specified email does not exist (losely translated from Danish) As far as
I can tell.. its my own exchange that tells me that... not TDC's servers.

and ofc no problem there.. it was delivered to myself again.

is shipped out the house without problems.

#5.1.1 is what is returned with the mails I try to send... afaik TDC

Version says Version: 6.5.7638.1
