Exchange Servers >> MSSQL, DBC's, triggers etc...

Some questions re MSSQL & VFP

1. Can MSSQL insert rows into VFP tables as a result of a 3rd party process
(eg VFP not open, no sqlconnect)?
2. Will triggers & table/column level validations fire normally?
3. If above is 'yes,' what happens if the trigger code crashes or the
trigger and/or validation logic rejects the update/insert?
4. I assume that non-DBC tables get toasted easily in situations like this,
right?

Exchange Servers >> MSSQL, DBC's, triggers etc... MSSQL would need to open a VFP database or DSN to a folder containing free
tables, by way of VFPOLEDB or VFPODBC.
VFPODBC has not been updated since VFP6.
VFPOLEDB will handle triggers and validations if they are stored procedures
or in programs in the path and subject to a SET PROCEDURE TO..; and if these
procedures use code that VFPOLEDB supports.
