How can I use ActiveX controls and WaitHandle.SignalAndWait() in the same app?

In order for me to use ActiveX controls, my main thread must be STA, but I also need to call WaitHandle.SignalAndWait(...) which requires my main thread to be MTA.

Any suggestions on how to do use both Any workarounds. Thanks.
