Hollow arrows using GDI+

I'm using C++ to draw an arrow using GDI+. I use the following functions:

Graphics graphics(hdc);

graphics.SetSmoothingMode(SmoothingModeAntiAlias);

Color col(255,0,0);

Pen pen(col,1);

AdjustableArrowCap arrowCap(3.0,3.0,TRUE);

pen.SetCustomEndCap(&arrowCap);

graphics.DrawLine(&pen,points[0].x,points[0].y,points[1].x,points[1].y);

The result is a nice arrow, but it seems that the line of the arrow is continuing into the arros head and makes the arrow head look hollow. Any ideas to avoid this

Well I have seen this answer to so many questions in these MSDN forums. I guess that we do not "disturb" the groups by purpose, but we do not find another appropriate place to ask the question. When you reply with this kind of notice, it would be nice to get an advice where to ask the question then...
