I installed the .net framework 2.0 onto our server a few months ago and everything was fine, until i recently tried to add a new webservice. I then tried to repair the framework as i was told that this would help with the issue.

However, when repairing, an error occured saying that the Microsoft.JScript.dll was already installed which gave an install error. I decided to completely remove the .net 2.0 framework and try to reinstall thinking this would resolve the issue. I am still getting this error when trying to install, so i no longer can use the .net framework, which isnt good as i've hosted a few important sites on it and they are now down!!

If there is any help i can get with this, it would be much appreciated.

The most sure way to fix this issue is to find the version of .NET Framework 2.0, which you originally installed. Execute it, you will be given the repair option there. Do repair it then. Execute the original .NET Framework 2.0 again, this time choose uninstall.
