If you check here again.

Threading, use threading.

You start up a Windows form and are running a message queue processing on it. However when you start all your work inside the event for the button you are using the thread the message queue processing is supposed to run on. When your process for SNMP gets into a case where it is involved in long processing loop or is in a waiting state, then your thread isn't necessarily free to be used by the Application Context for processing message queues.

Rule of thumb: If it is a lengthy operation and is running from form events then use threading and synchronization so that you don't end up starting more than one thread trying to do the same work.
Also be careful when using threading and Windows form controls, you need to make sure that certian control of the form controls always happens on the thread that instantiated and bound them to the form.

Also, bad show of just off linking here. You should have re-hashed the post when posting here rather than providing the URL. Yes it would have taken more time, but it's only being respectful to the community of developers here.
