I am learning VB and ASP.NET/ADO.NET using the 2005 Express suites on my laptop, but I will have no web access (no wires or wifi) for most of the time. Is there some way I can reference (use) the 2.0 Class Library Reference without the cloud Is it in the SDK and I just haven't found it Any pointers would be helpful. Thanks.

Yes, it comes bundled with the MSDN Library. Unfortunately said library does not come bundled with Express. You'd need to get an MSDN Subscription in order to access it offline. If you look here (http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/vstudio/aa700832.aspx) you can see the pricing, so just the library subscription will set you back just under US$200.

You can download one of the following to get the Class Library Reference:

.NET 2.0 SDK

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx FamilyID=fe6f2099-b7b4-4f47-a244-c96d69c35dec&DisplayLang=en

Windows SDK

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx FamilyID=c2b1e300-f358-4523-b479-f53d234cdccf&DisplayLang=en

Probably you'll want the first because of the smaller download size.
