Hi,

If you go in Access I believe that in the tools menu there is something called the upscaling wizard which will allow you to make a sql server database from the access database.

If your sql server database already exists you probably need the Sql Server Migration Assistant for Access:

Hi

The simplest solution is to create a dataset with the access data. Next assuming that the schema is the same for the SqlServer database, you just have to code your own table adapter for SqlServer. ie:

  1. Program fills dataset with access table adapters
  2. Program manipulates data if needed
  3. Program saves the data in Sql Server using the sql server table adapters
