EM_SETCHARFORMAT breaks the Undo queue in ReciEdit 2

Hi gurus,
Have you any one have the experient of using EM_SETCHARFORMAT to change the
color of the text, and after that, the undo queue is corrupted. I observe
this using RichEdit 2.0.
Any suggestion is appreciated. Thank you.
