2147319779 Automation error Library not registered

Visual Studio362
An application built in VB6 runs on two separate PCs. The user of one PC

called me today to say that she couldn't print anything. The other user has

no problem. The application uses Excel to print forms. At first the error

she was getting was:

An error occurred initializing the VBA libraries (1004)

Their IT dept sent someone up who re-installed Office, and now my app is

returning the error 2147319779 Automation error Library not registered.

In speaking to the app user, I learned that last week she received an Excel

document in an email from someone. When she opened it, there were multiple

problems, eventually requiring IT to come in just to get Excel to shut down.

Her Office apps are working now after IT's reinstall, but my app is not.

Should my first step be a complete re-install of everything for my app? Is

there a way to only install the Excel library?

Or is there another possibility I'm overlooking?

Thank you.

Paul
