70-292 Passed!

Visual Studio225
On the 4th I got a 646 on 70-292. That was my first failure after doing 7 for

7 for my MCSE 2000. Today I retook it and got an 888. Now onto 70-296 to

finish up my MCSE 2003.

Congrats....too bad you blew the 8 for 8 thing. Don't feel bad though, Vinateri

blew his chance at 32 for 32.

Well Done with the pass!

I'm to take the exam in 3 days!

How many questions did you get?.... Did you get many on DNS?

Re:70-292 Passed!

Hi minime,

It was 40 questions in 120 minutes. And a high proportion of Terminal

Services and DNS questions. Be sure you know the nitty gritty of the

material. It is a tough one.

Re:70-292 Passed!

I've just come back from the test centre, Failed with 498!..It's a tough

cookie! Terminal Services, SUS, and DNS are the topic's of subject in this

exam... quite a few were drag and drop questions...

Oh well... I'm gonna do them individually now, starting with 70-290 in a few

weeks time.

Agreed! It is a tough exam. What's funny is I've been reading the MCSE

Re:70-292 Passed!

From what I've heard from people who have sat both 292 and 296 (Instructors

and the like) say that 296 is alot easier than 292, although as I'm not an

MCSE 2000 I wont be sitting that one!

Looks like 292 is the 'beast' as it were (for the upgrader's anyhow)...

something like 216 on the 2000 track...

Anyways, onwards on upwards I suppose, As I said earlier, I'm just gonna do

290 and 291 to get my MCSA 2k3 that way...

Anyways good look with 296, Im gonna start studying for 290 now, Out of

intrest Have you heard any comments \ difficulty of 290?

Re:70-292 Passed!

You're welcome. Good luck on 70-290. I know Microsoft is trying to make their

certs more reflective of real world experience, and get away from "paper

certs", but the areas they seem to be focusing the exam questions on doesn't

seem to be hitting the mark.
