I am kind of confused about the rights I get when purchasing a MSDN Premium Subscrpition. It says it comes with a Windows 2003 server license for up to 5 clients. Is there any difference if someone is using it for developing a software or to just running Word/Excel programs If so, how would one assure this or that machine is OK to access or not the Win203Server (a developer running a spreadsheet from server is ok, but a secretary running the same spreadsheet is not )
Sharepoint got me even confused, because it comes in this Premium subscription, but nothing is said about the number of machines. Besides, its accessed via Web, so it sounds kind of impossible to say for instance that 1 time access of a machine (for consulting once a document) should have a specific Sharepoint license...
To be honest, I think MS is bad at making license understading perfectly clear.
Could someone help me please
