Excel Programming >> macro security

Hi,

A few years ago some kind person in here provided me with a macro to
capitalise cells, it works a treat.

Now I have a new laptop, wasn't farther Christmas kind, and I have
copied the test into the temple file.

It works but I get a security warning (it gives me the option to disable
macro, enable macro or more info) the first time I run it in a session.

Now I over came this, with some help from some one in here, by some
method - possibly self validation, I did download something and then do
something, can't remember what though.

If I go into TOOLS | MACRO | SECURITY

The security level is set to MEDIUM

and in the trusted sources tab I am present.

How do I make the new macro understand that it is OK to run?

Thanks for any advice.

Excel Programming >> macro security Check out Help on Digital Signing and the the Self-Cert utility which allows you
to sign your projects on your own computer only.

Self-cert digital signatures are not exportable as are paid-for ones from Thawte
and Versisign.

Go to Start>Programs>Microsoft Office>Office Tools and build a selfcert from
there.
