Drivers >> Vista x64 Device Driver DTM Test Issue Hello Everyone:

Because I don't find DTM newsgroup, I put the question here. Any comment
will be appreciated!

On Vista x64, driver MUST have Windows Signed before installing. Then how to
run WHQL submission test before driver getting Windows Signed for x64 Vista?

Best Regards

Windows OS135

Drivers >> Vista x64 Device Driver DTM Test Issue On Vista x64, drivers should not be "Windows signed" (I think you mean
Microsoft signed). They should be signed with some "trusted" signature (e.g.
company certificate + cross signing).

You have two choices:
1. you sign them with your company certificate AND cross sign them
2. you test sign the driver and boot vista x64 in test mode.

For the DTM stuff, I would probably go with the second option.

Both the signing procedures are documented in the vista x64 driver signing
walkthrough available here

Hope it helps

Not so. The drivers can be signed by any corporate certificate issued by
Verisign or... list of trusted cross-certificate providers follow.

WHQL has nothing to do this this.
