Security >> IPsec with P2P

This network environment has 7 computers (xphome) on a P2P network. They all run behind a linksys router/ap. I would like to buff up the security a little so would it be a good idea to have all 7 computers communicating via IPsec? There is one laptop running on 802.11b wireless and im not liking the WEP encryption.

Windows OS57

Security >> IPsec with P2P Ipsec will introduce some overhead to network performance. You may want to enable the
client/respond policy on the wired computers and then request policy on the wireless
computer. That would then make sure that any traffic to/from the wireless computer
would be ipsec secured to your internal network and still allow internet access for
it if needed. Otherwise see if there are firmware updates to allow your wireless
equipment to use WPA or upgrade to equipment that is Wifi certified which will allow
WPA security. Any https traffic to the internet will not be vulnerable to wep
attacks. --- Steve
