Check your SmallBusiness SMTP connector settings in Exchange System Manager.

On the General tab your server name should be listed as a local bridgehead server.

Also on the general tab which of the following is selected:

-Use DNS to route to each address space on this connector

-Forward all mail through this connector to the following smart hosts (if this one is what is the SMART host?)

Are you able to send or receive email?

Re:Exchange problem now

My server name is listed as the bridgehead server, use

DNS to route is checked, and no I'm not able to send or

receive email. When I send and receive this is the

message I'm getting on recieve I get an error

(0x800401d) and sending I'm getting (0x80040115. When

I'm in Exchange System manager if I go to servers the

first storage group mailbox storage and publec folder

storage have red down arrows on them. When I try to

mount store and that is the only option not grayed out I

get an error in both (IDno: c1041724 Exchange system

manager)

Thanks

What lead to this problem?

Do you have any event 1088 in the event logs?

Take a look at

1. KB 253931 Mounting a Database After Restore Fails with Error Message c1041724

http://support.microsoft.com/?id=253931

2. KB 313184 HOW TO: Recover the Information Store on Exchange 2000 in a Single Site

http://support.microsoft.com/?id=313184

Even though some of the info is on Exchange 2000, a lot of it still applies to 2003.
