- Money >> Account List doesnt't apearI recently upgrade to 2007 when my old version stopped being supported and I
have found one really annoying quirk. When I go to Account list, none of the
account names show up. I have to resize a column(any onewill do) before they
show up. Does anyone know why this is happening or how I can fix it? I even
tried reinstalling and it still does it.
Also I don't use online updates, is ther a way to get rid of the columns
used for this? They are just annoying if you don't use it, and I didn't see
anythign in the options area

I installed Win SBS 2003 and the SQL server 2005 addition.
I am trying to move my SharePoint data bases from MSDE to the Sql Server.
I am following directions contained in MS Windows SBS 2003 R2
Administrator's Companion manual.
I have backed up existing SharePoint files (minimal, just installed OS).
I upgraded the SHAREPOINT instance.
I have verified that the SQL configuration network listens for TCP/IP both
local and remote.
When I attempt to open SharePoint in SQL server management studio on the
server PC, I get error 26 cannot connect to server\SHAREPOINT.
I have UDP port 1434 opened on server.
I can open the default SQL server data base and SBSmonitoring on the server
PC. Only SharePoint is not connecting.
Since I followed the manual, I removed MSDE program, so now I have no
SharePoint.
What do I need to do to make the connection on the server machine so I can
complete the movement of SharePoint data bases to SQL server 2005?

- Crm >> Crystal APS logon errorHi,
When I try logging on to the APS server with the
Enterprise Authentication option via Crystal Report 9, I
get the error "Failed to download secEnterprise plug-in
setup program".
But I was able to login to the CRM database and browse
thru the CRM database with no problem, also using CR9.
What am I missing here? Anybody got any idea?

It used to work, and now for no reason it isn't. I've
reinstalled messenger, and reinstalled Windows Media Player
10, to no avail, as it still doesn't work. What do I do,
and what is wrong?

- SVCS >> SSRS 2005 Navigation ProblemsI have a problem using the browser (IE7) to go backwards when using the
report manager even though the report project works when run by the designer.
I have narrowed the problem down a bit.
Single textbox on 1st and 2nd reports. No Datasets. Works both ways
Added a Dataset to 1st. The dataset is in a stored
Proc. and requires 3 parameters. Data not used.
All parameters have default values Works going down but Fails on return.
In a very subjective observation, I noted that there were 2 'mouse clicks'
going down and 3 coming back when it worked and 2 going down but
4 coming back when it failed. If ' were a mouse click, I heard:
Success Down ' '
Success Back ' ''
Success Down ' '
Failure Back ' '' '
When it fails I get the Report is being generated swirl forever.
Any help would be great.

- SBS >> Restore Exchange ServerWe are setting up a exact replica backup SBS2003 server. The ASR works great
for getting the basic system in place however I am having difficulty finding
the best procedure to backup the full exchange IS from the live server and
restore it to the backup server. Can someone point me in the right direction.

We have recently applied SBS 2003 SP1 and upgraded to ISA 2004.
We have a Linux based firewall (SmoothWall) supporting a Linux based FTP =
server.
Setup was like this:
SBS2003 with 2 NICs: fixed IP for Internet Connection NIC. The broadband =
modem/router also has a fixed IP .
FTP Server: HTTP: http://10.0.0.11 FTP: ftp://10.0.0.11/ of =
ftp://fixed_IP_for_Internet_Connection_IP (same range as SBS IC NIC)
SmoothWall firewall: 3 NICs - internal 192.168.16.9:81 (Green) (same =
range as SBS internal); internal 10.0.0.11:81 (orange)
The previous setup utilised the PersistentRoutes TCPIP registry setting =
to allow access to the 10.0.0.11 address, and this worked fine with ISA =
2000
Upon upgrading to ISA 2004, it complained in the Event Log as follows:

dropped as spoofed. (This alert may occur momentarily when you create a =
remote site network. You may safely ignore this message if it does not =
reoccur.) The address ranges in conflict are: 10.0.1.0-10.255.255.255;.
It also had the same error with the Internet Connection NIC in the =
description.
I have removed the PersistenRoutes entry, which was set as =
10.0.0.0,255.0.0.0, just leaving the data as 192.168.16.9,1 (this was =
there previously). I can access the SmoothWall via the 192.168.16.9 =
address, but am unable to access the 10.0.0.11 address for either =
SmoothWall or FTP Server (as would be expected normally). The Event Log =
errors have stopped.
I do not particularly want to install a 3rd NIC to allow me access to =
the 10.0.0.11 address as the FTP Server has its own firewall and does =
not need to be behind ISA, but I would appreciate any workaround to =
allow me this access.

- Crm >> Priviledges for Quick CampaignsIs there a way to control priviledges in roles for Quick Campaigns?
Several customers ask for a way to disable this option for certain users.
I have tried to disable Bulk Edit and Campaigns. This doesn't work.
I cannot disable activities. People should be able to create single
activities but not in bulk such as a Quick Campaign.

- Crm >> CRM Mobile ExpressI have Mobile express working perfectly behind our firewall, but when
I try to set it up for external it doesn't work. What IP address are
you supposed to use? What I tried was using our server's IP address
and then I entered a port that was not in use as the Installation
Guide suggested. What am I missing? Unfortunately, I'm new to IIS

Just upgrade from Money 2005 Premium, everything seems fine except that
whenever signing in, I got a pop-up window with wording similar like this
"it looks like that you have not setting up properly to accept the special
offer, do you want to set up now", then there is the options "yes" and
"no". I click "no" to sign in with my passport but then the next time I get
the same pop-up window again, not exception. I am just want to use Money to
track my account transactions, I don't need any special offer even MS is
going to offer me money. So can someone help me with this to get rid of this
pop-up window. Thanks

- SBS >> Dist Group and Public FoldersI created a sales@iiii.com and info@iiii.com distribution
group and added a couple of people to the list. I also
told the wizard to create a public folder and drop the
email in there. Sales and Info work great. i than
created a billing a couple of days later and it is not
updating with the Exchange info. I tried to enter in the
SMTP local and SMTP Ext email addresses and the X.400
address. I get the email but nothign is dropped in the
Billing Public Folder.. Any ideas....
PS I already tried deleteing the dist group and re adding
it.

If I use:

for the textbox 'LongValueName' contains an error:

If I change it to =(Fields!MTReg.LongValueName.Value)
I get this:

for the textbox 'LongValueName' refers to the
field 'MTReg'. Report item expressions can only refer to
fields within the current data set scope or, if inside an
aggregate, the specified data set scope.
Is this possible or am I just messing up the syntax?

- SBS >> I just got back from a TS2 seminar - looking for Sharepoint contentReally enjoyed it. Indika Boteju showed some Sharepoint content (a
FrontPage template I think) supposedly downloadable form the MS website.
The web termplate was for a Realty web site. Very professional looking.
Anyone else see that demoed at a TS2 seminar? And has anyone found the url

- Crm >> SFO CRM folders won't display pageSFO appeared to install correctly. The CRM toolbar buttons work fine in SFO.
But when I click on a CRM folder such as accounts, I get the following Action
Canceled error. I am running CRM 1.2 and this is on a Windows XP client. I
have installed the SP2 and SFO enhancement patches and cleared forms cache in
Outlook. I also uninstalled and reinstalled SFO. SFO works fine on all other
laptops within our organization.
Here is the error which occurs when I select any folder within SFO/CRM.
Action canceled

Hello
I am using CRM 3.0.
When our users send out emails and they get bounced back, how come
the users do not receive a non deliver notification in CRM?

New info re bounce back message:
When our users send an email from CRM 3.0, their bounceback message does not
go to Outllook and/or CRM.
If they paste the email address in Outlook then send it and the email is not
in fact sent, they do get a bounce-back.

would like to have some way of informaing the tech via email that the person
he assigned it to has acknowledged it, say by changing the cases staus. Is
there any way that I can track the previous owner of a case and send them an

I have followed the instructions in access help but get stuck on one point.

criteria ", I get to point step 9 and get stuck as I don't know how to...
In a Microsoft Access project (Microsoft Access project: An Access file that
connects to a Microsoft SQL Server database and is used to create
client/server applications. A project file doesn't contain any data or
data-definition-based objects such as tables and views.) (.adp), you must
first explicitly name the parameters in the stored procedure; for example:
@Beginning_Date datetime, @Ending_Date datetime
and then use those parameters in the WHERE clause; for example:
WHERE Sales.ShippedDate Between @Beginning_Date And @Ending_Date
In an Access project, you set the reference to the controls on the form in
the InputParameters property in the report, as shown in the next procedure.
I thin this is exactly what I'm after but I am missing some syntax to
declare the names.

- Money >> Dividend and Cap Gains 401k HelpMS Money 2002
When my Dividends come in every month and are reinvested into the
Mutual fund that it came from, I go to my 401k page, then to the
Investment Transactions, I do one transaction for the incoming
Divindend, then another to show that I'm reinvesting.
I think the effect is that the dividend is going into the cost basis
which is incorrect right? The Cost Basis should only be what I have
put into the 401k. Same thing goes for the Cap Gains that were added
into my account this month.

I have posted a Question under the title: "To Move or Not To Move". Many of
you have helped me out in that regard. See that thread to understand where I
am coming from.
Question:
If I add a second SBS machine to the network, will I have to purchase
additional CAL's?
The second box will be used for running two (2) applications: SharePoint and
QuickBooks.
All Active Directory will be used for the original SBS box.
I was under the impression that by purchasing the second SBS license through
Open License that I would NOT need to purchase additional CAL's.
It is very confusing.

I'm trying to create a bar graph that will change the color of the bar
if the value is over a certain threshold.
Something like graphing values that are between 1 and 100... bars would
be green if value is 1- 74 but red if it's 75-100.
Anyone know how to do this?

to find out how to localize reports in reporting services.
1) How do I localize report texts? I can see that there's language
property and a ValueLocId property? Should I use these and how?
2) How do I localize report parameter prompts?
3) How do I localize reportname and description? For the description I
can see that there's a DescriptionLocId?
Are there any good resources on how to localize reports in Reporting
Services 2005?

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE DEPOSIT TOTALS AND CHECK/PYMT
TOTALS???? WHY WAS THIS SCREEN CHANGED???? FOR MANUAL
RECONCILATIONS, I BELIEVE THAT THE ELIMINATION OF THE
SEPARATE TOTALS MAKES IT A LITTLE MORE DIFFICULT TO
RECONCILE!!!!

- Money >> 401(k) Headaches - Beginner Advice NeededOkay, I'm in the process of learning the whole process of managing
accounts with Money... up until now haven't had to do anything with a
401(k) plan. In my infinite lack of wisdom in this area, I have no idea
how to set this thing up in Money 2004's 401(k) manager or confirm that
it is in fact properly set up.
I've successfully got the 401(k) account put into Money, and I have set
up the last several paychecks' 401(k) contributions section to go to,
for example, "My 401(k) Plan (Contributions)". Does this number
typically also include the amount that my employer contributes also?
I'm looking at my first statement which I received 12/31/03... and the
numbers from my own Contributions and the "New Contributions" seciton
are close, but not quite: Money 2004 says $269.86; the statement says
$252.52 (note that this is before the Net Market Change of $7.16). Why
the $17 difference? Is there a discrepancy other than maybe an
incorrectly entered number in my paychecks?
Also, how do I know what to enter for my investments for this account
when trying to enter information from a statement? I see that the
company is not listed as being one of Money's online banking accounts,
but is there a way to download information for the individual
investments? Even if I can't download information for them, I have no
idea how to classify them... Bond, CD or U.S. Savings Bond, Equity or

Although I do have some longer descriptions of the name, that still
leaves me not knowing how to classify it in Money, or knowing how to
confirm my numbers are right. Any suggested reading or advice would be
greatly appreciated.

- SBS >> Adding a Win2K member serverWe have a Win2k server that we used to use as our office server. It was the
only server on that network. It has users setup with the same user names as
our new SBS2003 network. The server has a SharePoint site that my board of
directors and staff use on a daily basis from their homes and places of
business. The site is password protected.
I have setup an SBS2003 network and things are working very well. I'd like
to add the Win2k server to the SBS2003 network for a few reasons:
1. We would like to use it's hard drive space.
2. It is already setup as a Symantec Antivirus Server (currently I just
have the Symantec client software installed on my workstations and new
server)
3. We might want to host our public web site on it.
My office is setup like this: Currently I have a cable modem with a hub
attached. I have two routers attached to the hub. I have the external
network card on the SBS2003 server connected to one router and the one and
only network card in the Win2k server connected to the other router. Each
router has a static IP assigned to it and I use port forwarding on them. I
have purchased a package of 5 static IP addresses from my ISP. I purchased
SBS because it's easy to use and we have way too small of a staff (3) to
warrant a dedicated IT department. So, like many small originations, I'm it
and I don't have a whole lot of experience with servers. I can learn from
reading and can follow directions. So I'm looking for some advice or
articles on how to accomplish this. Once I accomplish adding it to the SBS
Domain I'm sure I'll have other questions regarding Domain registration and
IIS.
Extra Information that may or may not be useful:
Our public web site is hosted by our ISP www.companyname.org (we'd like to
host it here preferably on the SBS2003 server because of IIS6 and some
FrontPage 2003 features. If the advice from this group says security is a
huge risk then we would like to host it on the Win2k server using IIS5 and
some of the FrontPage 2002 extensions.)
We registered a new name (different than our web site) for our SBS2003
network so users can access the RWW by typing in the
https://company_initials.org/remote.
Our board of directors and staff type the IP address of the Win2k server
network to access the SharePoint site. (we'd like to improve this some how
with maybe just have them type http://compnayinitials.org to hit it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a development environment which is not in connection with the
production environment since they are running on separate networks, this
leaves me with the fact I can not use the normal deploy routine from within
Visual Studio in to our production server so I have created a number of
reports and want to upload them to the production environment via the report
manager / Upload files function.
Report seems to be fine to upload but my datasources are only seen as
text/xml files when imported to the new environment - this is driving me
nuts! What am I doing wrong? are there any practial workarounds / sql hacks
or eq. that could solve my problem?
Please HELP!
