- Money >> Money 2004 Cdn Version EvalDoes anyone know where I can download an evaluation of MS Money 2004,
Canadian version to test the migration from Quicken XG 2004 to MS Money?
I found US and International evals, but not a Cdn version.
Thanx

- SVCS >> Form type reports... Possible?I need to create data reporting forms that does not necesserily have
repeating rows, but are composed of field names (test labels) and values
(read/calculated from database fields) scattered on page (similar to a manual
data entry form). I can do this with Cristal Reports but is this possible
with the SQL Server Reportsing Services? Thank you very much for your
opinions.

- SVCS >> Open Report in PDFHow can I force ReportViewer to open a report as a PDF automatically? Using
the Format=PDF in the properties menu generates a PDF report, but it opens
in Acrobat causing an extra step for the user. In Crystal Reports there is
an ExportType function that allows the Viewer to open a PDF directly. Does
SRS offer a similar function?
Thanks

- Crm >> Programatic sharing of teams.I have been searching the sdk and have had trouble finding the method I
should use to share an entity (incident, contact, custom entity, etc.) with a
team.
Does anyone have a quick answer?
I'm assuming an associated method for removing a share to a user or team
will be named similarly to the creation method. If not, that would be good to
know as well.
Thanks.

- SVCS >> DataSet Accessing more than one databaseIs there a way we can create a dataset that extracts data from more than one
database?
Example:

FROM Databse1.dbo.tbl_Test d, Databse2.dbo.tbl_User u
WHERE d.ID= u.ID

- SBS >> Outlook Web Access and https - possible to use http instead on SBS2003?Hi all,
Does anyone know whether it is possible to configure SBS2003 so that
OWA functions (as it can in SBS2000) via http as opposed to https?
Currently upgrading/rebuilding a SBS2000 network as a SBS2003 network
and have run into the problem of all remote mail (OWA and Outlook via
the Internet) seemingly needing to use https to function correctly.
The reason this is a problem is that we run a Citrix/Nfuse solution
and our Cisco Firewall intercepts all https traffic and sends it to
the NFuse box in the DMZ.
If anyone has any ideas at all I would be extremely grateful.
Cheers.

- Messanger >> Messenger 6.2 Video ProblemUsing the Audio/video tuning wizard I can get both a picture and audio the
first time I use the wizard. The second time I use the wizard without
shutting down windows I get a black video screen but audio still works.
These are the same symptoms for video chat, works the first time but not
subsequent chats without shutdown.
If I restart windows it works again for the first time only.
I have a Panasonic PV-GS120 digital camcorder. I don't think it is a driver
issue since it does work the first time around. The camera uses standard
Microsoft USB Webcam drivers.

Crm >> Publishing new Custom Report in CRM 3.0 / SQL Reporting Services
I've just created a custom report in SQL Reporting Services.
I'm trying to find the next steps for being able to run the report from CRM
3.0.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks much,

Crm >> Publishing new Custom Report in CRM 3.0 / SQL Reporting Services
Well,
I just went to reports and hit new, and lo and behold, it was pretty easy.
So that's all you have to do to publish a report?
Cool.

Crm >> Publishing new Custom Report in CRM 3.0 / SQL Reporting Services
Thats it..you need to publish the reports in the Microsoft CRM interface
rather than the report manager but apart from thats its pretty
straightforward.

- SBS >> SBS2003 PDC vs Member serverAll
Is is possible to get around installing my SBS as a
Primary Domain Server but just as just a member server
if I bought/installed just a
"Windows Server 2003 for Small Business Server client access license"
Wound it them just boot up see no PDC and decide it would run in server mode
only ???
I have already done dcpromo on this box & had it bark about not being
a PDC per this support article
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;555087
I dont want this box running dns server, active directory etc
Its just a web/sql box, & I dont want all the other stuff it brings to the
table.

- SVCS >> SharePoint 2007 and URL AccessI want to create some links in Sharepoint 2007 that will take me
directly to a report, display it within the SharePoint full page
report viewer and set some parameter values along the way.
I've tried:
http://<sharepoint server>/<portal name>/<report library>/<report
name>.rdl?Param=value
No luck.
Anyone have suggestions? Workarounds?

- Crm >> Problems with User managerCRM 3.0 is installed properly on
Windows 2003 Server (Domain Controller)
When I want to add new users to CRM the listboxes are empty (e.g. no users
in the domain are found).
What is funny: One User (Systemadministrator) is already there. Changing
this item is no problem (AD can be browsed, so access to AD is there).
I saw that someone had the same problem one week before but there were no
answers. So your help is higly appreciated
By the way: I could try to add new users via Web-Client but I do not know
exactly which URL I have to enter ?
Best regards, Christian

- SBS >> Common Reply Address - Distribution GroupHi,
I have a distribution group - info@domain.com - and I want the members of
that group to default to sending/replying as info@domain.com, instead of
their normal external addresses. ie the external recipients should hear from
info@domain.com rather than joebloggs@domain.com How would I go about that?

this before? Any issues arise with previous opportunties, reporting, etc?
Thanks,

- Compact >> SyncLockHi,
I'm still confused about the parameter you use for SyncLock (or
Monitor.Enter) calls.
If I want to create the equivalent of critical sections, I should be
able to write something like the following code extract, not?
Private MyLock As New Object
...
SyncLock MyLock
...
End SyncLock
As long as MyLock can be seen by all the threads, each thread should
block when arriving at the SyncLock statement, correct?

- SBS >> MYOB and SBS 2K3 in AusDid a sales pitch yesterday for a small company running MYOB over a peer
network. Data file is on a Windows 2000 Pro machine. Sold them SBS2K3. New
client talks to MYOB consultant. Consultant rings up and recommends Windows
Server 2003 Stamdard, says that MYOB won't support SBS 2K3 - reason is that
for best speed over the network, MYOB recommends running TS connections to
the server from the workstations, and SBS2K3 doesn't support Application
Sharing Mode. Hmm. Anyone else had experience with MYOB on SBS2K3 - are
there any real speed issues, or am I just becoming paranoid (again)?

- SBS >> Remote Web Workplace - Client ConnectionHi,
OK Got SBS 2003 working, and there I'm using RWW to connect to the server.
This works wonderfully well.
The problem comes when I try to connect to a "Client Desktop". Now all the
PC's are listed there ok but when I click on connect I get the error :
"Connectivity to the remote computer could not be established. Ensure That
the remote computer is on and the connection to the Windows Small Business
Server Network."
Now Obviously there on-line and on the domain but the error persists.
Like I said the secver connects perfectly.
Dont have a firewall in the mix so theres no protocol blocking going on so
the question is how do I connect to the desktops? is there a tool / wizard
I'm supposed to run on each desktop first and if so where does it live?
PC's are all XP
Any help would be appreciated

on my machine or other end users, it doesn't consistently work. Do I have to
keep the Report Server web site open on the my server machine? What about
Reporting Services?

The formular is as follow:

Fields!CN_WGT.Value, 0))
If I the formular like this:

- SBS >> clients show ISA Server could not be detectedWe're in the middle of properly setting up MS SBS 2000. Currently,
our clients have the ISA firewall client utility installed, but show
the error listed in the subject header.
I've read that there are automatic discovery settings in both the DHCP
and DNS utilities on the server machines and believe I've set those up
correctly. Still, using automatic discovery or the UPDATE NOW
functions on the clients utility I'm not getting a link to the ISA
server.
Any advice?
