- Money >> Money+ Auto Download ProblemI erroneously posted this in MoneyCentral and was nicely told this is the
correct forum for the post. Forgive the cross-post.
I had been a Money 2007 user but had not kept it up-to-date. I got religion
and decided to install Money Plus when prompted by the pop-up that a new
version was available.
I deleted my old accounts, installed Money Plus, created two new accounts
(checking & credit), downloaded my checking and credit account from BOA
without any problem.
Next time I started Money+ the software was trying to download from a third
BOA account, (not the checking & credit accounts I set up), even though I
had not set up the account. Might this be some residual from the earlier
install of Money 2007?
When I try to delete this third account, Money+ tell me to wait as it is
downloading. Of course it can't as it does not have any account info. When
I try to categorize the files I created and downloaded, Money+ tells me I
can't because the file is being download even though it is a different file.
Then the CPU usage goes to 100% as Money+ tries to sort this out.
I would prefer to schedule the download when I choose rather than have
Money+ automagically do it.
ANY ideas on how to proceed? Reinstall Money 2007?

Has anyone been able to create a crm mobile package using the crm
mobile deployment tool to create a package to install the crm mobile
client software on to a windows mobile 5.0 smartphone.
The crm mobile deployment tool only allows you to create packages for
ARM processors and for Pocket PC 2003 and Pocket PC 2005.
I need to create a package for Xscale processor and Windows Mobile
5.0. Has anyone done this.

- SBS >> VPN working finally now what with SBS? Help please?!Okay, finally after working with Watchguard I got our VPN up and running.
This is where I need help, what next?
VPN is Watchguard Firebox X Edge in Kansas, Watguard SOHO 6/tc in Texas.
The SBS2k3 box is in Kansas, it has two NIC's. NIC one goes to LAN and NIC
two goes to the firewall. IP subnets in Kansas are 192.168.111.x for Local
area network and 192.168.2.x for WAN.
In Texas, we have one Windows 2003 server with one NIC plugged in to the
firewall and a Dell Powerconnect 16 port unmanaged switch plugged in to the
firewall with 4 workstations. The IP subnet in TX is 192.168.1.x
With the VPN up and running, I can ping the WAN nic of the SBS2k3 box
192.168.2.2 just fine.
What steps do I need to do in order for me to see the LAN side of the
network in Kansas from here in Texas and what steps do I need to do in order
to put the server and workstations from Texas in to Active Directory of the
SBS box in Kansas?

- SBS >> All email delaying for 20 minutes.We are running SBS 2003, Trend Micro ScanMail 6.2 and Server Protect. All
this week emails are going through the system very slow, Internal emails
and emails from outside are delayed 20 minutes. I can look in the Messages
Pending Submission and the messages are sitting in there. Has anyone had
this problem?

I am setting CRM up for telesales and trying to make it as basic as I can
I have searched the web and forums, and i have the Snyder and Steger book,
but not found the answers to what i need, so hopefully someone here can help.
1. Can I have numbers next to the leads
2. Can I stop the colums sorting, when the top of the colums is clicked.
3. Apointments can be synced to outlook, but don't seem to carry the
infomation from the record. It just pops up to say you have an appointment.
Can this be set to pull the notes from the record across?
4. I would also like to hide the navigation pane, the tempatoin to press
these buttons is a bit much for these guys, and then they get lost, and then
ask for help to get back to where they were.

Is there a way to avoid CRM contacts synchronized in Outlook to be exported?
We want to disable exporting CRM contacts to avoid users selling a list of
contacts.
I guest we can use GetCommandBarID in GPO to disable export.
Is there any other ways?

- Compact >> Emulator does not connect to the LAN...Hi,
I'm trying to set up my Visual Studio 2005 to develop a project for a device
that will be connected to the corporate Sql Server 2000 database via a
wireless LAN. The problem is I can't configure the emulator to be connected
to the LAN. I've tryed both approach: through the Visual Studio
Tools/Options/Device Tools/Devices/Pocket PC 2003 SE
Emulator/Properties/Emulator Options/Network Tab/Enable NE2000 PCMCIA
network adapter and bind to: "connected network card"; and I also tryed to
directly configure the emulator on Start/Settings/Connections Tab/Network
Cards/NE2000 Compatible Ethernet Driver by setting the same IP address of my
PC and a IP address non used on my own network segment. Neither of these
approaches work. To test if the emulator is correctly configured I use the
Internet explorer on the device and point it to my intranet web server. As a
result the emulator raises a dialog that say: "Unable to connect: You have
no modem entries created, and no network card present."
What I'm doing wrong? How to configure Visual Studio to set up the emulator
as a wireless enabled device?

- Crm >> CRM Outlook Client installed on Citrix Question w/Flex ProfilesWe have begun deploying CRM Dynamics 3.0 in our environment. All of our
clients launch Outlook through Citrix MetaFrame XPe FR3 servers. The CRM
Outlook client installs correctly the first time and everything works
correctly. However, the next time Outlook is launched the CRM toolbar icons
and the CRM menu items do not respond. We are using flex profiles with ops

I've been working with MS support and they say the flex profiles are too
much like roaming profiles and CRM doesn't support them. Is there any one
out there who has found a solution to a similar situation?

- SVCS >> Paging & Visibility?I have been trying to figure out why paging was not working on my
reports. I checked the report layout and could find nothing wrong.
Then I started turning off "features" and found that if I use this
statement in the Table Visibility box
"=IsNothing(Fields!CampaignMasterName.Value)" (w/o quotes) that paging
is completely turned off.
Why does this affect my paging? I use this statement so that nothing
is shown on startup of report, headers/footers. Any solutions would
be appreciated.

I'm stucked with a bluetooth application.
Shortly , my visual c++ 2003 bluetooth code is intended to query for devices
nearby (example : my cellphone with bluetooh)
I'm using the below code; (my code compiles fine, but when I hit the line,
BtHandle = BluetoothFindFirstDevice(&search_param, &btDevInfo);
I debug and assume that it will wait for querying devices nearby but it
immediately switches to dissambler code;
I then toogle another breakpoint to another line below this line and resume
from debug , it comes to this line and
i see that "BtHandle" returns "unknown value" , as if it doesnot query any
devices, something wrong occurs here as much as i understand here.
Where am i doing wrong here ?
Someone please shed a light upon me due i'm stucked at this point.
I'm using built-in Widcomm stack in my Win2003 server. Does it matter for
this code to work on different stacks? (Microsoft,Widcomm,Toshiba,etc..)
Actually, the application i'm working on is intended to work on any machine
with bluetooth whatever bluetooth stack it has ?
Where do i have to start from ?
This is an urgent call, please some experienced guy, direct me in the right
order.

I need to find out if database 1 has the same vista_account's as database 2.
I am trying to use QA in SQL2000SP4. But I keep getting invalid object name.
Here is my script:

- Crm >> Workflow in CRM 4.0 not workingJust did an upgrade to CRM 4.0 from 3.0.
Now it appears that my workflows are not working. It seems that they
do not even attempt to run. In CRM3 there was a workflow service, but
after the upgrade and a reboot, I have no CRM Workflow service - is
there supposed to be one?

- SVCS >> Can't connect to Report server database in clusterI have two machines in cluster running Windows 2003 where is installed
SQL Server 2000. these two machines are in the same domain. Also I have
two other machines also running Windows 2003 where is installed an
instance of SQL Reporting Services 2000 on each machine that uses the
cluster database as metadata repository. The installation of the
instances of Reporting Services was completed successfully but when I
try to access the Report Manager or ReportServer I get the following
error:
"The report server cannot open a connection to the report server
database. A connection to the database is required for all requests and
processing. (rsReportServerDatabaseUnavailable) Get Online Help"
I already tried to reinstall the Reporting Services instances. I also
tried to run the RSConfig command line wich is written below:
"RsConfig -c -s SQLVIRTUAL(Named os the Cluster) -d ReportServer -a SQL
-u teste -p teste"
The teste account was created in the SQL Server with the same
permissions of the sa user including the RSExec permission.
Does anyone have a solution to this issue?

- Compact >> Query persisted DataSet/DataTable - the easy way?I have a combobox bound to a DataView, and I need to get a value from a
persisted DataTable using the ComboBox SelectedIndexChanged event (based on
the value of the item selected). I am successful in doing so, but I may be
doing it the long way around.
Currently, I am creating a DataRow Array and reading the value of a specific
column in the first row. The SelectedIndexChanged event code is listed
below, or you can download the sample project which is a working model using
the same code as below. Download project from

If anyone has ideas or suggestions for doing this a better way, please let

- SBS >> Remote accessI have a windows 2003 SBS standard server that is needed to be accessed "off
hours and weekends". Right now the clients can log in at certain times but
not 24\7. At times (?) they receive server not responding errors. Trying an
hour later, it works. I have looked in the remote access policy and it is set
for 24 hours a day. Is there somewhere else in a group policy (?) or similar
that would restrict access? Where is the location for the remote access logs?
I also have a problem with VPN users being disconnected frequently during the
day.......

When I run the report I get a
"A data source instance has not been supplied for the data source

I think I set this value from the smarttag of the reportviewer already
but I am not sure if it's taking it.
How can I fix this problem?

Compact Framework v2, and now when the application is run in the VS 2005
IDE, the following error displays: "This application ([...]) requires a
newer version of the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework than the version
installed on this device."
What can I do to resolve this issue?

First, I cannot find any e-mail adress on the site of MSN Messenger that I
can properly ask questions. They send me here to the newsgroup. Well if you
dont want to answer question dont make software for people! If you making
software for the general public please be more supportive then just direct
them to newsgroup!
My actual question is that i was trying to install my msn messenger 7.5 the
other day and i always like to install it in a different directory. its more
pratical for me to install it in a different place. But when I run the
executable (.exe). I cannot get even a chance to install it in a different
directory it complaints about errorcode 1603. After agreeing to the terms
and conditions it should ask me next where I want to install ( with a
'browse' button). It doesnt do that. this is not userfriendly... basically
its unfriendly... I dont have a choice. What i need right now is the files
and where i need to put all the files. Is this possible?

If you import an xml configuration file in Deployment Manager, you will
overwrite any other customizations made on that installation.
You can't create a file with e.g. some new fields you want to add. Or a file
with a new configuration for a certain area of MS CRM.
The only supported alternative seems to be to sit down at the server in
question and type in your changes in Deployment Manager and/or System
Configuration (with the usual risk of making typos that will mess everything
up.
It's not a very pleasant way of deploying if you have a general update that
you want to install on several CRM servers.
Is there really no way to create an automated install process?
Or to make just some steps automatic?

I know this is offtopic but I figure there are people here who know
this stuff real well.
I need to get a new firewall for our small office. There are two
unusual features I would like to have in it:
1. DHCP assigned systems can get ports forwarded to them. The two main
reasons are BitTorrent and being the game server for Age of Empires. I
don't want to have to create static IP addresses for each of these
machines. I don't mind if each does use an external IP address.
2. Have two connections to the outside world, our present DSL and also
a cable modem. I figure this gives us excellent redundancy as they are
totally different systems once the wire leaves the building. However,
cable is dynamic so all email from our exchange server must go out the
DSL line so spam filters don't throw it away.
Any suggestions?
