- Compact >> GPRS Disconnect Windows Mobile 6Hi,
I'm triyng to disconnect an open GPRS connection in my new Windows Mobile 6
device (HTC) but it doesn't work. I tried to use RAS
enumActiveConnections() to get the active connections, but it doesn't return
the active one, it doesn't return anything.
Then I tried with ConnectionManager ConnMgrEnumDestinations() but it returns
all of my configured connections, and not the active one.
Anyone can help me? I need to disconnect an automatically opened one...

I need to move windows and SQL accounts from an old sql 2000 server to a new
SQL 2000 server.
Actually I need to move all databases too.
I will detach and atach DBs. But how should I move win and sql accounts to
new server?

- Money >> Pay Bills DownloadsHi, the system was apparently down so I am going to re-ask a question that I
submitted a few says agao concerning the mapping of download for Pays Bills.
I have a few accounts on MSMoney 2004 (i.e. My Account, My Wife's Account, a
Joint Account,.....) and am experiencing a very confusing problem with the
Pay Bill function of MSMoney that I would appreciate help with.
Here is the scenario, let's assume that for my account, I set up Pay Bils to
XYZ Corp that Money assigns / labels as Payee 1. I then set up a Pay Bill to
ABC Corp which Money then labels Payee 2. So far so good.
Now my wife's sets up a payment to LMN Corp that Money labeled as Payee 1
and sets up payment to QRS Corp that Money labels as Payee 2 which creates a
PROBLEM because after payments are made to the respective Payees, I download
the transactions to MSMoney 2004 and in My account, Payee 1 is identified as
XYZ Corp (which is correct) but when Payee 1 transactions are downlaoded to
my Wife's account, Payee 1 is also XYZ Corp instead of LMN
Corp. The same thing happens for Payee 2, when I download the data to My
wife's account, it is downloaded as ABC Corp instead of QRS Corp. Either I
am doing something wrong or MSMoney 2004 does not differentiate between Payee
1 in one account from another account! Specifically, Pay Bill for Payee 1
that I created for My Account is different than Pay Bill for Payee 1 that was
created for my Wife's Account but when the transaction are downloaded to
MSMoney 2004, they BOTH are downloaded as the SAME Payee. I hope that I have
not confused the situation further with this explaination but this problem is
driving me crazy when I reconcile the accounts and hope that someone has a
solution / advice / recommenmdation / ..... that can help me solve thsi VERY
confusing problem. Thank you for your help, Bob

- SVCS >> (Hopefully) easy question for table/matrix guruHi,
I am designing a report and need a grid of values (table or matrix) to
run across the page, left to right for a fixed number of columns, then
"wrap" onto the next row.
Eg (3 columns fixed, unlimited rows),
EmpNo(1) EmpNo(2) EmpNo(3)
EmpNo(4) EmpNo(5) EmpNo(6)
EmpNo(7) ... and so on.
So its horizontal then vertical, all on the same page.
Any ideas?

I write reports to be posted on sharepoint - using SQL Reportig Services.
However I am getting command line error when executing properly stsadm.exe.
I tried hundreds of times checking the syntax and it's 100% correct
so why there's an error. The server OS is 64-bit Windows Storage Server
I am using MS SQL Business Inteligence Dev Studio for SQL 2005.

- SVCS >> checkbox and listbox for report parametersHow can I use checkbox and listbox (with multiple selection) for report
paramters? Do I need to go into the coding to do this, or I can do this from
the designing tool? Currently I can only use either a textbox (for single
value) or a pulldown box (for list of pre-defined values). I want to have a
listbox where the user can select multiple values and a checkbox to indicate
a Yes/No filter. Thanks.

- SBS >> SBS monitoring .... Reinstall HelpI had a customer decide the other day to uninstall some services that he
"thought" he was not using: (You just have to love that!!!!!)
SBS Monitoring and SBS Sharepoint.
UUgghhhhh!!!!
I have managed to get sharepoint back up and running after jumping through
all of the hoops, but I can't seem to get the SBS monitoring feature back up
and running. I have removed and reinstalled it a few times and used the SBS
wizard like it keeps suggesting but I have not had any luck. I can't seem
to find any information on reinstalling the SBS monitoring feature in SBS,
and the only event ID I can find in the Event Viewer is ID # 4104: Could
not connect to the monitoring database........
I have been unable to locate any information on this either. If anyone has
a KB that I could use to reinstall the monitoring portion I sure would
appreciate the help.

PS: My customer has been sufficently beaten about the head and neck for
doing this!!!!!! ;-)

- SVCS >> Timeouts when accessing Reporting ServicesWe have run into an issue where access to reporting services on our web box,
is timing out. This is via asp.net and the web service. Looking at the log
files does not list any errors.
One thing I have noticed are a number of "restarts" of the service - as seen
in the event log:
The ReportServer service has been activated.
Some of these occur minutes apart. In the 24 hours before the timeouts,
this occurred about 12 times, with varying time intervals.
Previously we had a similar issue, but the logs were complaining about
creating performance counters?!
Any feedback would be appreciated.

- SVCS >> Back button for drilldown reportsHereâ??s a good question for the knowledgeable: I have been experimenting with
drilldown reports (where a report item is linked to a â??Jump to Reportâ??
action). In the designer there is a nifty little button that allows me to
move back to the previous report (level). This button does not seem apparent
in the Report Manager.
Am I missing something? I realize that there is IEâ??s â??backâ?? button however
that does not always return me to the previous report. For example if I
toggle the visibility of an item the browserâ??s â??backâ?? button will return me
to the previous state (hidden) as opposed to back to the report from which
this one was called.

- SBS >> Error 7010 in event log / "Unable to Relay"In the daily Server Performance Report email, I get this notice of a
critical error. THere are 9 instances of the following. Is this normal?
This is an SMTP protocol log for virtual server ID 1, connection #43.
The client at "222.101.92.87" sent a "rcpt" command, and the SMTP server
responded with "550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for moneyhunter99@daum.net ". The
full command sent was "rcpt to : <moneyhunter99@daum.net>". This will
probably cause the connection to fail. For more information, click

The white paper says: â??You are not required to run any Adobe software on the
report server in order to render reports in PDF.â?? In the hand book to
Reporting Services of Brian Larson it is written: ""First of all, you will
need some type of utility to produce output in a PDF format. This could be
Adobe's full version of Acrobat or some other utility."

- SBS >> outlook clients working with pop3 acountsI have a SBS + exchange with no smtp connection (for sharing calendars only)
every user has a pop3 account at the isp and the client outlook configured
with both exchange and pop3 acounts.
the probles is that if the exhange account is the default account so outlook
tries to send the outgoing mail from the exchange server instead to the pop3
and viceversa if the default account is the pop3 so the local addresses
(@domain.local) are sent via the pop3 server.
I think that must be a way for outlook to know that local addresses belong
to the exchange ?????

- Crm >> Quotas in CRMI haven't been able to find any information on quotas in CRM (apart
from setting them up and running reports).
Can users see their own quotas? And is it possible to see the revenue
$ instead of justthe % of the quota?

I have changed addresses and the net passport will not
let me enter as the software keeps defaulting back to the
old address and locks me out. How do I fix?

does not recognize the filtering, so when i try to set the default filter CRM
says
'This report cannot have a default filter'.
Can any one give a reason why?

- Money >> Restart Money 2004 when downloading statementsI seem to be having a problem when downloading any bank
statement... Everytime the download is complete and I
click "ok", Money tells me it has encountered a problem
and needs to close.
The Exception Information is as follows:
Code: 0xc0000005 Flags: 0x0000000
Record: 0x0000000000000000 Address: 0x00000000105b7885
I've tried repairing the file (through standard repair)
and also tried msmoney.exe -s. It fixed a couple of
other errors (i.e. outstanding transactions that did not
exist... although this is still an issue with one
account).
I don't know what to do anymore. It gets quite annoying
to have to restart money after downloading each statement.
Help.

- Money >> Only one biweeekly deposit seen by budget setupHope someone can help me out here.
I get paid biweekly and that's how I have it set up in Money 2002 and I
don't have any problems with it. I recently tried to set up a budget and my
salary appears under income and it is listed as occurring biweekly but it
only used one of the deposits to calculate my total monthly income. Can
anyone tell me why it's ignoring one of my biweekly deposits? If I get the
details on my salary, it shows the correct monthly amount (approx twice one
pay check). At first I thought it was because at the time I was doing this,
I had only received one pay check that month so I waited and tried again
after my second check had arrived but no dice, it still showed my income to
be equivalent to only one of the biweekly deposits. I tried to add a second
salary deposit but it wouldn't let me which it shouldn't, but I was
desperate.
One thought just came to me, I don't have my salary entered automatically, I
have it setup in "Pay or Record Bills and Deposits" but I enter it manually.
Could this be the reason?

- SVCS >> Wide Matrix causing Error when Previewed or ExportedHi,
I've got a report in MS SQL Server 2000 RS and it's got a matrix on it which
obviously has a variying number of columns depending on the data. If there
are a large number of column that cause the martix to extend beyond the
boundaries of the page I get the following error message (when print
previewing and exporting)...
"Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the
collection. Parameter name: index"
Can't work out how to get around this problem. Help would be appreciated.

we want to use datasets on Pocket PC with SQLite and a total memory of
124,79MB.
Hence datasets are an in-memory-representation of a db, is it somehow
critical to use it on pocket pc?

- SBS >> URGENT need to BOUNCE internal email outsideHere is the situation;
We have our domain as mantaray.com,
our emails are handled by a server outside.
Now, we have one guy that travels and normally pickup his
email directly via pop3 on the hosting server, while all
other emails are pickup via pop3 by our SBS server.
Now, when an internal email is send to him, SBS detect
that his address is local and just put it in his mailbox
on our SBS server, which is fine when he is in the office.
But while on the road that forces him to connect to 2
pop3 server to get his internet mail as well as internal
mail which both have the same email address.
How can I force Exchange via any kinda rules to BOUNCE
his internal mail to the external smtp server that host
his email so he can pickup both at one location.
Any help is welcome, and please don't tell me that he can
connect her and get them all, our link is totally
unreliable and very slow.

- SVCS >> Creating a report model against an SSAS Cube in Visual StudioI'm trying to create a report model in visual studio. I need the model
to report against an exiting cube. I can easily make the model in SQL
Server management studio. When I try to do the same in Visual Studio I
run up against a problem when I try to create the datasource view. The
steps I'm taking:
- I add a new Report Model Project into the solution that contains my
Analysis Services Project.
- I add a new datasource to the Report Model Project choosing to create
the source on an object and choosing the existing Analysis Services
Project.
- If I try to add a datasource view, the datasource I created doesn't
show up. (I've read in Microsoft documentation that this is designed
functionality)
- I can't find a way to create a report model directly against the
datasource and of course there is no datasource view. It would seem
that I should be able to create a report model directly against the
datasource since that's how both SQL Server Management Studio and the
reporting web interface works but I can't figure it out.
Can someone help me?

- Money >> Wrong Payee on downloaded statementI've researched this topic in this group and this topic seems to come
up frequently. Most solutions talk about matching the wrong
transaction. My problem is subtly different. When I click "change" on
the suspect transaction, MS claims that this transaction is unmatched.
The funny thing is, the payee listed in the register ("Billy") is
different than the payee shown on the "change" screen (the screen you
go to when you select "change.") On the "change" screen, MS claims
that this transaction (payee is "Bob") is not matched!! I then click
cancel and the payee on the register is back to "Billy" Why is MS
changing the payee on a transaction that is unmatched? Please advise.
