SQL Server Developer >> Small Storage Solution For SQL Server
Even though this is not a programming question but I thought that this is the
place where it makes sense to ask.
I am looking into a small storage solution for SQL Server 2000. Storage can
be up to 1 TB of usable space. Company is not looking into investing big
dollars into big SAN solutions like EMC symmetrix, Clarion etc.. Solution
should support RAID 5, 1, and 10.
Implementing SAN on EMC or HP can cost around 200K which they dont want. Any
suggestion(s)??
Thanks in advance.

HP has a Disk array MSA1000 (SCSI)- I have used in a High availability /
High performance system. They work very well.
MSA 1000 also comes with Snap Cloning / SnapView.
Other option would be SATA based Disk Array.

Thanks for your response
Another Question. Is this solution for only a single server or does it
support multiple servers.

MSA1000 can support more than 1 server. (Please check with HP though)
