Hi to all, i have a question.....on one server with WIN 2003 SERVER (SQL
Server 2000) and 3GB RAM memory....the AWE enabled must be 0 or 1 (enabled or
disabled) ?
because sqlserv.exe eat all memory and he run very slow
SQL Server >> SQL Server 2000 eat memory
AWE should be off and you probably don't want the /3GB set in the boot.ini
either.

In a 3 GB machine there is no need to enable the AWE memory. If you have
memory more than 4 GB memory to use the extended memory for SQL Server you
could enable the AWE. Read the article in below URL for more info.
