SQL Server Developer >> Server properties.

Hi, Is there any sprocs in SQL Server which can give me information about
the server which I can use for licensing of an application.

Let me explain:
I have a small rich client database application that currently doesn't have
a license model.
I now want to apply a licensing model to this application.
My options are, A. license each client software to only run on the client
computer it is installed on, B. license the database, or C. license the
database to only run on the server it was installed on.
I prefer option C as A would be too messy with a large number of clients and
B would mean users could copy the database and distribute it without me
knowing.
However with C, I need SQL Server to provide me through TSQL some way of
uniquely identifying the server (i.e. hard drive serial number, OS serial
number etc).

Any help would be much appreciated,

Mat.

SQL Server Developer >> Server properties. Any ideas anyone?

I've looked through BOL and have found SERVERPROPERTY. However, the most I
can use for the locking criteria would be the server name.
