spell checknot installed

I am running word 2000 which was installed on my computer when I bought it

(therefore I do not have a works or office cd)...



I have recently encountered the error message "Microsoft word can't check

the spelling in this document. The feature is not currently installed.

Would you like to install it now?"



What should I do?!
