Windows XP Support >> Having problems at startup with windows installer Everytime i load my computer it tries to install the drivers for a printer i
dont use anymore. Since the drivers are non existent i keep getting this
error message that tells me the drivers cannot be found. I dont want it to
load at startup or try to install anymore! What do i need to do to get this
thing to stop trying to install these drivers. It is so annoying!

Go to control panel, printers and faxes and see if the nonexistent
printer is there. If so, right-click on it and hit delete.

I tried looking in the control panel as well as the startup list and i
cannot find it. The printer is not listed on my printer and faxes thing. It
still tries to load. I found an article on microsoft about an installer fixer
but the link is dead. Any other suggestions?

You should only use to remove left over entries after you have
uninstalled the hardware.

Hope this helps.
